Living in this age of information overload, it seemed important to explore the difference between information (facts = seeds), knowledge (understanding = flowering) and wisdom (absorbing information and knowledge, developing them and offering them back to be shared = fruit).
A thoughtful viewer at a recent quilt show suggested that I should add another panel to the quilt for "Reflection"; maybe a quiet pond at the foot of the trees?
